class this second half of the semester has been a little weird... i don't know that dada is my favorite type of art. i do like the paintings that came out of the time. not the sculptures so much. i guess i've never really like a lot of sculpture though. the movies we have watched with the bugs coming out of the guys hand and with crazy aliens ripping people's faces apart with their ribs are really not my taste at all. i appreaciate that it was revolutionary but they're just not really something that i am that into.
i went to the dali museum the other day and it was pretty interesting. i like seeing the studies next to the art work that showed where his thoughts were before he put the piece together.
